The LT500 is a versatile and unique circular knife grinding machine designed for grinding chamfered circular knives up to Ø500mm, as well as single and multiple counter blades. It features a tangential grinding wheel Ø250mm or an optional face grinding wheel Ø150mm.

With its rigid base, heavy structure, and perfect weight distribution, the LT500 ensures vibration-free operation, resulting in low roughness and excellent finishes.

The LT500 is equipped with a 1.8 kW (2.5 HP) electric grinding motor mounted on two step-by-step motorized linear working axes, controlled by a Siemens touch screen PLC with user-friendly software and an intuitive interface. The equipment also includes a grinding head that rotates from 0° to 90°, a programmable automatic work cycle, centesimal grinding head feed with an electronic handwheel for precision movements, grinding wheel rotation inversion, a table speed variator from 3 to 35 rpm, and a mobile column that allows machining of workpieces more than 300mm from the table.

Additionally, the LT500 can be equipped with a magnetic table Ø300mm or wider, and a magnetic or paper purifier with an external tank.
